A little about me

About LGT Consulting

Personal approach.
Hands-on delivery.

I’m Leigh Gallagher Tricker—a rider, horse owner, and business leader with experience in finance and equestrian sport.

I identify what needs attention, agree the priorities with you, and take ownership of the work. My experience spans marketing, show management, program leadership, and barn operations.

Experience

Business experience.
Equestrian understanding.

Business leadership

As Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of Investor Relations at Graham Capital Management LP, I was responsible for customer service, team management, marketing, operations, and strategic planning.

Industry service

I serve on the USHJA Board of Directors and Finance & Budget Committee, and as Vice Chair of USHJA Zone 1.

In the saddle

As an active amateur jumper and equitation rider, I bring a competitor’s firsthand understanding of the sport to my work.

Expertise

How I can help.

Whether you know what needs doing or need help working it out, I take projects from priorities to delivery. I work remotely, with clear responsibilities and a scope that fits your business.

01

Marketing strategy

I review your goals and available data, identify where to focus, and build a practical marketing plan and calendar. Then I work with you to put it into action.

02

Content & campaigns

I write social content, develop campaign themes, and organize the schedule. I take responsibility for moving the work forward, following up, and keeping delivery on track.

03

Partnerships & outreach

I identify relevant partners, make connections, and follow up. My work spans equestrian associations, brands, horse shows, and farms, alongside one-to-one outreach to prospective customers.

04

Barn administration

Keep the paperwork behind the barn running smoothly. I help navigate show entries, track expenses, prepare invoices, and coordinate supply orders and customer communications—giving owners and trainers more time for horses and clients.

Client work

Real businesses.
Shared values.

From marketing software to growing a competition program and supporting a working barn, my work reflects the different needs of equestrian businesses.

The League

I lead strategy, marketing, member engagement, and championship operations for The League presented by Marshall & Sterling Insurance. Since I took on the program, membership has grown by more than 40% and Finals entries by more than 30%.
